We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled WordPress Developer / SEO Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in WordPress development and, SEO optimisation techniques. You will be responsible for maintaining, and optimising WordPress websites while ensuring they are SEO-friendly to improve rankings on search engines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customize, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring functionality, performance, and design quality.
- Optimize websites for speed, usability, and overall, SEO performance according to SEO strategy guidance.
- Conduct keyword research and SEO analysis to improve on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
Implement on-page SEO including title tags, meta descriptions, image optimization, and URL structures.
- Perform technical SEO audits and fix issues related to website structure, links, or performance.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Regularly update content, plugins, themes, and maintain website security.
- Collaborate with content and design teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure websites remain competitive.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in WordPress development and SEO.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
- Expertise in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
- In-depth understanding of current SEO practices and search engine algorithms.
- Proven ability to implement SEO strategies that improve organic search rankings.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with website hosting, domain management, and server configurations.
- Knowledge of UX/UI best practices.
