Job Description
Job Title: Regional Sales -West Region
Location: Mumbai or Pune, Maharashtra
Qualifications: BE / B.Tech or MBA from a reputed institution.
Industry Preference : Auto Components / Auto Spare Parts / Auto Accessories (Only)
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in aftermarket sales, with exposure to managing large sales teams and channel networks.
Purpose of Job:
To drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and operational efficiency for the West Region Aftermarket Sales division. The role involves strategic sales leadership, channel development, team management, and ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
Sales Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute regional sales plans in alignment with organizational goals.
- Drive revenue growth by expanding market share and increasing product penetration across the West region.
- Continuously monitor and review sales performance against targets and take corrective actions when required.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Area Managers and MSRs.- Recruit, train, and develop team members to achieve business and personal growth targets.
- Set performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
Channel Management:
- Build, nurture, and manage strong relationships with channel partners.
- Identify and onboard new channel partners to strengthen the regional network.
- Train channel partners in product knowledge and equip them with sales tools.
Market Development:
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify and exploit new growth opportunities.
- Plan and implement marketing and promotional initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
- Engage actively with key customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Operational Efficiency:
- Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit policies.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure smooth product availability.
- Work with the Product team to contribute market feedback for new product development.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and business insights to Head Office.
- Use data-driven analytics to optimize strategies and improve sales outcomes.
