Head - Product - Real Estate Firm

Key Responsibilities:
Vision & Strategy:
- Define the product vision for tech-forward, reliable rental housing, addressing gaps in fragmented markets.
- Develop a scalable product roadmap aligned with business goals (e.g., growth, profitability).
Market & User Understanding:
- Translate user needs into intuitive product features and flows (discovery, booking, living).
Platform & Tech Development:
- Oversee building user-friendly apps/portals for tenants and property owners/managers.
- Implement tech for standardized operations, dynamic pricing, and seamless service delivery
Operations & Experience Integration:
- Bridge product with operations, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience (clean rooms, Wi-Fi, support).

- Build processes for efficient property onboarding, maintenance, and resident engagement.
Full-stack Technology Architecture & Platform Development
- Own the architecture and evolution of the end-to-end platform: investment management, development management and rental housing brand specific technology platform.
- Ensure a robust, scalable, and secure tech foundation capable of supporting multiple brands and a highgrowth user base.
- Lead decisions on build vs. buy, system design, and vendor integrations across verticals like KYC, payments, IoT devices (smart locks, energy meters), and more.
- Create a modular tech infrastructure that supports rapid brand launches and microservice scalability
Cross-functional Leadership:
- Lead product, engineering, marketing, and operations teams to execute the vision.
- Balance customer delight with financial viability and investor expectations (ROI, yields).
Compliance, Security, and Platform Integrity:
- Establish robust data security protocols and platform uptime commitments.
- Implement role-based access, audit trails, and redundancy mechanisms to build institutional trust and reliability into the platform.
Innovation & Differentiation:
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in proptech, fintech, and consumer behavior to drive product innovation.
- Identify and test new business models, monetization strategies, and partnership opportunities
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in tech/product roles with a strong understanding of both frontend and backend systems.
- Experience scaling consumer tech platforms, ideally in proptech, fintech, or consumer.
- Deep empathy for users across economic and digital literacy spectrums.
- Proven track record of building lean tech teams and shipping delightful, data-driven products.
- Ability to manage complexity across multiple brands, user journeys, and business models.
- Strong communicator with the ability to align diverse teams around shared goals
