Job Description
- As a Sales Engineer in the North & West India region (Hydraulics) based in Ahmedabad (Moraiya), your role will involve various responsibilities related to Sales & Business development in the Industrial Hydraulics sector. With a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics and 3-5 years of relevant experience, you will play a crucial role in the following areas:
- Study incoming enquiries of Hydraulic systems and promptly respond to customer queries.
- Engage in pre-proposal discussions with customers to understand project requirements and craft unique value propositions to gain their confidence.
- Collaborate with the Technical team to create hydraulic circuit diagrams, select appropriate components, prepare part lists, and estimate project costs.
- Prepare and submit Techno-Commercial offers to customers, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
- Coordinate with Voith management to strategize commercial proposals aimed at securing orders.
- Facilitate the preparation of release documents upon order confirmation and ensure seamless information transfer within the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) for project execution.
- Provide support to the design team in the document approval process and assist the operations team in overcoming project challenges.
Moreover, your role will also include:
- Conducting Market Mapping to identify potential customers in the Indian market.

- Expanding business avenues through the development of new customer relationships.
- Participating in strategic meetings with customers to enhance the Company's market position.
- Conducting competitor analysis to drive future business strategies.
