Job Description
- As an Engineering Manager specializing in POS Systems (Android) at our Noida location, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of products and projects for your team. Your responsibilities will include taking ownership of the product and project delivery, contributing to roadmap discussions, overseeing estimations and resource allocation, driving efficiency, mentoring team members, and collaborating with product managers and other stakeholders.
To excel in this role, you must have a solid background in POS systems, including EMV knowledge and Android POS development. Candidates with experience solely in Android or POS (C++/Java without Android) may not be suitable for this position. You should have at least 8 years of software development experience, with proven Tech Lead experience managing a team of at least 2 engineers. Additionally, you must possess a minimum of 13 years of Android mobile development experience, particularly in a POS environment.
A strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments, and exposure to fintech will be advantageous. You will be expected to participate in discussions related to design, architecture, and technology choices, as well as ensure system scalability, performance, and reduction of technical debt.
