Senior Payroll Analyst

• Responsible for end-to-end monthly payroll processing of assigned countries.


• Consolidate and validate payroll data for new hires, terminations, and monthly changes in a timely manner.


• Gather information from various departments on payroll inputs and share with payroll providers.


• Validate payroll output against payroll inputs to ensure that all payroll changes are processed correctly.


• Ensure accuracy of employees Gross to Net pay.


• Engagement with local in-country payroll providers to meet delivery timelines.


• Co-ordinate with finance team to arrange payroll funds.


• Support with ad-hoc payroll tasks as deemed appropriate and lend support to team members for other geographies, as needed.


• Good knowledge on statutory compliances and taxation r.t India payroll


• Preparation of TDS, PF and PT payment challans for processing within specified deadlines.


• Liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders – employees, HR, finance, external payroll vendors and other external benefit providers (e.g. food coupons).


• Interact and support HR Business Partners with payroll and benefit queries.


• Main point of contact for all payroll and benefit queries from employees, payroll providers and internal teams - by phone and email.


• Detailed focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness of payroll related tasks.

• Bachelor degree required or equivalent experience

• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in related roles

• Experience and understanding of India payroll related compliance.


• High level of understanding of payroll procedures, laws, taxes, and best practices.


• Preferably with international payroll & benefits experience – Europe and APAC.


• Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel using VLookups.


• Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.


• Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.


• Experience with outsourced payroll vendors - Excelity and ADP.


• Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data.


• You must be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines along with managing your own time effectively.


• Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written.


• Ability to communicate with various levels of management.


• Hands-on approach who is actively engaged in all aspects of payroll processing.
