About the Role

As a Video Editor at EQTY LYFE, youll craft impactful visual content that communicates our mission, research, and community stories. Youll work closely with our design, marketing, and research teams to produce videos that educate, inspire, and engage from product explainers and research highlights to social campaigns and short documentaries.

What Youll Do

Edit and produce high-quality videos for campaigns, research showcases, and brand storytelling.

Collaborate with the creative and AI research teams to visualize complex technical ideas in accessible formats.

Combine footage, graphics, voiceovers, and sound design to create polished, cohesive narratives.

Manage the full post-production process color correction, sound mixing, transitions, subtitles, and visual effects.

Create short-form content (Reels, social media clips) that reflects EQTY LYFEs voice and values.

Stay updated on visual trends, AI-assisted editing tools, and inclusive storytelling practices.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Film, Media Studies, Visual Communication, or equivalent experience.

Proven experience (01 years) in video editing, motion graphics, or multimedia production.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.

Experience creating content for YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and brand storytelling.

Familiarity with AI-based editing tools (Runway, Pika, Descript, etc.) is a plus.

Bonus Points For

Experience producing educational or social impact content.

Skills in animation, graphic design, or color grading.

Understanding of inclusive representation and accessibility in visual media.

Interest in documenting AI research, community stories, or tech-for-good initiatives.
