Role Summary

The Internal Strategy Associate will support the executive team in defining, analyzing, and executing the companys most critical strategic initiatives, acting as an internal consulting partner across functions. This role combines structured problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and cross-functional project execution to drive business growth, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to scope and execute strategic projects such as market entry, new product evaluation, pricing, operating model design, M&A support, and post-close value creation initiatives.

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, including financial modeling, KPI analysis, customer and competitor research, and industry trend analysis to support strategic recommendations.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations, memos, and business cases to communicate insights, recommendations, and progress on key initiatives.
• Support internal strategy reviews, OKR / annual planning processes, and governance cadences by preparing materials, consolidating inputs, and tracking action items.
• Analyze key business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Finance, Product, and Commercial to drive implementation of strategic initiatives aligned with company priorities.
• Build and maintain dashboards / recurring reports to track progress against strategic goals and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
• Provide ad hoc analytical support and decision-making assistance to the executive team as a trusted internal thought partner.

Qualifications

• Fulltime MBA from IIMs
• 2–4 years of experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, Private Equity, or a similarly analytical environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and work with incomplete data.
• High proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker will be an added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling narratives for senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and stakeholder levels.
