Internal Controls And Compliance Officer

What role you will play in team: You'll be responsible for maintaining the effectiveness of internal controls and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations within the hotel operations.

What you will do: You'll conduct regular compliance checks, document findings, and collaborate with various departments to implement corrective actions.

Key responsibility:

• Develop and maintain a robust system of internal controls for financial and operational processes.
• Conduct regular compliance checks to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and Marriott’s internal policies.
• Review and update existing policies and procedures to reflect changes in laws and regulations.
• Conduct investigations into suspected non-compliance incidents.
  
• Prepare reports summarizing compliance status and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure implementation of corrective actions.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in internal controls or compliance.
• Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations applicable to the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
