How Will You Contribute to the Company?
We are looking for a talented APAC Director of Accounting to join our team. The Director will partner with the Controller and other leaders on the team to oversee local accounting functions. With oversight of local India accounting team. The right candidate is comfortable breaking down roadblocks, seeking solutions and will join the team with “rolling up their sleeves” when necessary. International experience is required as Cradlepoint is a high growth company. Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced, high growth company where scope of work encompasses multiple time zones.
What Will You Do?

• Manage day to day operations for APAC entities
• Support global consolidations and ensure timely close for all APAC entities
• Review and approve journal entries & Balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage all the annual statutory audits
• Partner closely with the US Accounting team
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce time to close while ensuring accuracy of underlying data
• Partner with cross functional teams to identify areas of improvement
• Support internal and external reporting
• Have knowledge of tax, statutory and compliance requirements for entities in India. Similar knowledge across other APAC entities
• Develop a culture of mentorship, training and success in the accounting organization
  

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• Ten (10+) years of progressive accounting experience, with at least five (5+) years in leadership or management positions
• CA/CPA and Big Four public accounting experience
• Ability to lead and mentor but also roll up sleeves and be a team player
• Energetic with a positive attitude
• Demonstrated ability to interact with management and contributors at all levels of the organization

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or SAP accounting systems
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in MS Office with strong excel skills
  

Bonus Points

• Multi-national and public company experience is strongly preferred
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CA
