Artificial Intelligence Engineer (AI Developer)

POSITION OVERVIEW

US-based Creative Analytics is seeking an expert Backend AI Developer to architect and implement innovative AI-driven solutions. This role involves technical leadership in developing backend systems, integrating AI models, and ensuring seamless data flow for a confidential, innovative project. The best candidate for this role will bring a blend of creativity and technical skills to build, refine, test, and evaluate prompts for language and multimodal models.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead the development and integration of AI algorithms and backend systems.
• Utilize prompt engineering techniques to extract desired outputs from generative models promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GenAI-driven solutions into business workflows.
• Contribute to the establishment of best practices for efficient utilization of generative models in business and automation contexts.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of AI-driven applications.
• Stay abreast of emerging AI and web technologies to drive innovation.

KNOWLEDGE

• Deep understanding of AI/ML principles, web architecture, and data management.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and SaaS application integrations.
  
• Proficiency in data security and privacy best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Extensive experience (3+ years) in Python and related AI/ML libraries. Hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, particularly OpenAI models like ChatGPT, Langchain, and Vector Database/Embeddings.
• Proficiency in databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and caching mechanisms (Redis).
• Experience of API-based integrations and cloud deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), Apache Kafka, and no-code platforms (WeWeb.io).
• Solid experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with LLamaIndex.
• Proficiency (1+ year) with techniques and methodologies of prompt engineering.
• Experience delivering successful software projects from concept to production.
• Demonstrable ability to write compiled, well-commented code.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the role.
• Methodical approach to problem-solving and task completion.

• Familiarity with NLP toolkits like HuggingFace.
• Knowledge of Agile software development lifecycle, including experience of applying change control procedures and disciplines.
