Job Description
Your field of responsibility
Your responsibilities include :
- Work as Sanction Filter engineer in a self-organizing Scrum team
- Build and maintain highly available Sanction Screening platform
- Understand and Configure the Screening product
- Aiding in onboarding new customers (departments within CS) to the screening platform
- Extending the Test Automation footprint in this area
- Develop helper tools and scripts
- Manage the deployment, maintenance and L3 user support
- Build technical documentation of all delivered artifacts
- Work with release manager, business analysts and software developers
- Support releases, updates and maintenance
- Supervise and support Test infrastructure.

- Global Financial Messaging Services (GFMS) provides cross-product services for the information exchange within CS and with CS-external partners in the context of business-to-business (B2B) transactions. The information exchange is mostly based on data exchange protocols defined by non-CS sources, e.g. SWIFT. Our offering can be grouped into:
- 'Core Messaging Services' that provide primarily basic straight-through processing and network access
- 'Messaging Utility Services' as a base for message flow and infrastructure monitoring
- 'Business Services' for providing manual message entry as well as search, retrieve and reporting capabilities
- 'Regulatory Services' in case of sanction filtering, compliant archiving et al.
- This role belongs to the Regulatory Services area.
- We are small niche team based in Switzerland and India. We work in Agile-Scrum.

Your skills and experience

To excel in this role, you should possess below:
- Outstanding Experience in handling message format (XML, CSV, delimited.. Etc.)
- Experience with coding skills, scripting skills (e.g. Shell, Perl, Python, Bash or similar)
- Financial Messaging and SWIFT exposure is added advantage
- Experience with continuous integration/deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins, Docker)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Experience with build automation tools (e.g. Maven, Ant, or similar)
- Experience in monitoring/alerting tools (Splunk, MBM)
- Outstanding Practical knowledge of SQL, PLSQL
- Practical knowledge of Linux/Unix systems commands, syntax and tools
