Summary:
As a Lead Specialist / Senior Lead Specialist - Compensation & Benefits, you will be responsible for managing and supporting core C&B and Total Rewards programs for the organization's India operations. This role demands strong analytical capability, policy design experience, and hands-on expertise in compensation structures, salary planning, benchmarking, and benefits administration. You will partner closely with leadership teams, global stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to ensure competitive, compliant, and business-aligned C&B practices in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Compensation & Benefits Leadership:
- Design, develop, and update C&B policies and compensation structures aligned with business strategy.
- Manage core C&B processes including budgeting, salary increment planning, bonus planning, and introduction of new benefits.
- Conduct periodic C&B audits, identify risks, and implement controls to close gaps.
- Analyze compensation data, market trends, and salary reports; recommend changes to ensure competitiveness.
- Drive compensation benchmarking exercises and participation in market salary surveys.
- Evaluate results and present insights to leadership and global teams.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compensation and benefits practices comply with India statutory requirements (PF, Gratuity, Statutory Bonus, CTC structures, Insurances).
- Maintain documentation, audit trails, and compliance frameworks.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting:
- Collaborate with internal teams, business managers, and global C&B teams to deliver accurate and timely reports.
- Support overall C&B projects and strategic initiatives across the organization.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of total HR experience with minimum 3+ years in Core Compensation & Benefits (India).
- Recent 2-3 years must be Core C&B, not only C&B operations or payroll.
- Experience in high-growth, dynamic environments; recent 2 years in organizations with 1000+ headcount.

- Strong understanding of India C&B compliance (PF, Gratuity, Statutory Bonus, CTC structures, Insurances).
- Strong data analytics capability with excellent command of Advanced Excel (V/H lookups, Nested IFs, Pivot Tables, Charts).
- Proven experience in budgeting, salary planning, benchmarking, and policy design.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (C&B certifications preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
