Associate Product Manager - B2B SaaS Startup - IIT/BITS

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Product Manager at Zenskar, you will work at the intersection of customer problems, business outcomes, and technical execution. You'll be embedded in the product team - working closely with PMs, design, and engineering to ship features that directly impact how our customers manage billing and revenue.

You'll own real work from day one - scoping features, writing specs, working with engineers, talking to customers, and shipping. You'll learn fast because the problems are hard, the team is small, and there's no place to hide. If you want to build real product muscle early in your career on problems that genuinely matter, this is the place.

- Own feature-level scoping and delivery within your product area, covering areas like contract lifecycle, billing automation, integrations, AI, and revenue recognition

- Contribute to product discovery, hypothesis testing, and data-driven prioritisation to ensure we're always solving the right problems, not just the loudest ones

- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to define problems and craft scalable, high-quality solutions

- Track success through clear KPIs and customer impact. Every feature you ship should tie back to a measurable outcome

- Stay close to the customer - talk to them, read tickets, understand workflows. Bring that context into every spec and prioritisation decision

- Coordinate across workstreams with clarity - keep engineering, design, and stakeholders aligned on what's being built and why

- Focus on outcomes over output, deliver iteratively, & embrace experimentation

- Track product performance post-ship, iterate based on data, and treat learnings from both wins and failures as fuel for the next iteration

Ideal Candidate:

- Strong B2B SaaS Product Manager / Early Product Talent profiles

- Mandatory (Experience 1) Must have minimum 10 months+ of Product Management experience OR strong product-focused internships where candidate has owned outcomes end-to-end

- Mandtaory (Experience 2) - Proven experience owning products end-to-end from problem discovery and PRD creation to launch, iteration, and impact measurement

- Mandatory (Experience 3) Comfort with data and ability to define KPIs, analyse performance, and iterate based on insights

- Mandatory (Company ) - Must have worked in B2B SaaS companies only, preferably in Series A

to Series C funded startups OR top B2C product company

- Mandatory (Education 1) Must be an Engineer and an alumnus of Top 7 IITs only (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati, IIT Roorkee) and BITS Pilani

- Mandatory (Education 2) Year of graduation should be 2023 or later

- Mandatory (Note) - Overall experience should not be more than 2 years
