Job Description

About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven Assistant Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team and help scale our B2C mobile products. This role sits at the intersection of product, growth, and marketing, and will play a key role in new product ideation, go-to-market strategy, and user lifecycle optimization.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in product marketing for digital products, understands mobile app ecosystems, and can leverage data-driven experimentation to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ideation & Market Research
- Collaborate with product, design, and growth teams to identify opportunities for new mobile app products and features
- Conduct market research, user research, and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends
- Translate insights into clear product positioning and messaging
Go-To-Market Strategy
- Develop and execute end-to-end GTM strategies for new mobile app launches and feature releases
- Partner closely with product teams to ensure strong alignment between product capabilities and marketing messaging
- Support launch campaigns across multiple digital channels
User Growth & Lifecycle Management
- Design and implement user acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention strategies
- Optimize user lifecycle journeys using data insights and experimentation
- Work closely with analytics teams to monitor growth metrics and user behaviour
Experimentation & Optimization
- Plan and execute A/B testing experiments to optimize marketing campaigns and product funnels
- Use insights to improve conversion rates, retention, and engagement

App Store Optimization (ASO)
- Implement ASO strategies to improve app store visibility and organic growth
- Optimize keywords, app store creatives, and metadata
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with product, design, growth, and analytics teams to ensure successful product launches
- Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and vendors when required
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong B2C Product Marketing background
- Experience working with mobile apps and digital products
- Ability to combine analytical thinking with creative marketing execution
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Mandatory Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in product marketing for digital products
- Must have experience in pre-launch and post-launch marketing, including user research, positioning, and GTM planning
- Experience launching or scaling a mobile app (preferably iOS)
Company Background
- Mandatory (Company): Candidates must come from B2C product companies offering digital / tech products such as Fintech, EdTech, AdTech, or TravelTech
Exclusion Criteria
- Mandatory (Exclusion): Candidates from e-commerce companies such as Meesho, Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy, etc. will not be considered

- Candidates must be from technology-driven B2C products where the core user experience is built around the technology itself
- Avoid companies where the experience is driven by offline services such as food delivery or ride-hailing (e.g., Ola, Swiggy, Zepto, Zomato, Uber)
Stability
- Mandatory (Stability): Minimum 2 years tenure per role required
- One short stint is acceptable if there is strong tenure (5+ years) in a prior role
- Frequent job changes will not be considered

- Total years of experience must not exceed 5 years
