Role Overview:
The Regional Sales Head will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding its market presence, and leading strategic business development initiatives within the banking and financial services sector in Bengaluru. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep industry connections, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to close high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify and prioritize target accounts, market segments, and new business opportunities.
- Leverage industry knowledge and existing relationships to drive market expansion.
Revenue Generation & Sales Leadership:
- Own and drive the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and closure.
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets and KPIs.
- Manage large, complex deals within the BFSI sector.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, decision-makers, and key stakeholders in target organizations.
- Leverage an existing network (rolodex) to accelerate sales opportunities.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product, delivery, and pre-sales teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Provide strategic input to internal teams for customized client solutions.
Market Intelligence & Insights:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the BFSI domain.
- Identify emerging opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives.
Product & Customer Feedback:
- Gather client feedback and mark requirements to influence product development and innovation.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with customer needs and industry demands.
Process Optimization & Growth:
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and customer engagement strategies.
- Enhance customer experience to maximize retention and long-term value.
Qualifications & Experience:

- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in business development/sales within the BFSI sector.
- Proven track record of selling data analytics or cloud-based solutions.
- Strong understanding of banking and financial services industry dynamics and regulations.
