Job Description
- As a highly experienced Project Delivery Head, you will play a crucial role in leading the end-to-end delivery of large-scale Smart Metering projects under RDSS at Cuculus in Bengaluru. Your responsibilities will involve managing the entire IT stack comprising Head-End System (HES), Meter Data Management (MDM), and Cloud Infrastructure.
You will be responsible for overseeing program delivery and management, including planning, design, implementation, testing, integration, and go-live of complex smart metering projects. Your role will also require you to demonstrate a strong understanding of DLMS, HES & MDM use cases, configurations, and performance metrics, and direct integration efforts with Billing Systems, Workforce Management Tools, and Consumer Portals.
Stakeholder management will be a key aspect of your role, as you will act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership from client organizations, drive regular governance meetings, and proactively communicate risks, delays, or change requests. Additionally, you will be accountable for driving revenue recognition, ensuring financial compliance, and managing invoicing schedules.
Leading and mentoring a team of Project Managers across various domains will be part of your responsibilities, where you will prioritize tasks, resolve conflicts, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or computer science, have a minimum of 20 years of experience in IT program management in the Energy & Utilities sector specific to the Metering Domain, and have a proven track record of managing multi-vendor, high-scale IT deployments for utilities. Expertise in Microsoft Project, project delivery frameworks (e.g., PMP, Prince2), and exceptional communication, leadership, and customer relationship management skills are essential.
Preferred certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile PM Certification, and Cloud Certifications would be advantageous for this role.
