Who we are looking for
We are hiring a Digital Asset GD Recon Specialist to be a Reconciliation (Recon) subject matter expert in our Global Delivery (GD) function, participating in workstreams to build digital asset operations within State Streets infrastructure. You will be responsible for sharing knowledge and expertise around current operational workflows, maintaining alignment to GD Recon leadership, escalating any concerns to functional leadership, acquiring approvals of new models with functional leadership, and maintaining alignment with digital asset operations leadership. We expect this candidate to have a risk excellent mindset and be proficient establishing an effective control environment. The ideal candidate should understand digital asset concepts (blockchain knowledge, understanding of digital asset types, decentralized finance, tokenization, etc). At a minimum this candidate should have intellectual curiosity to learn about digital asset servicing. This role will have a dual reporting line to GD Recon leadership and digital asset operations leadership.

What you will be responsible for
As a Digital Asset GD Recon Specialist, you will
- Participate in workstreams as a recon subject matter expert for digital asset operations across a portfolio of value streams to deliver digital asset capabilities
- Fosteralignment between value streams, manage interdependencies, and deliver value at an organizational level
- Establish risk control procedures to ensure risk excellence across all capabilities
- Partner with testing teamsto develop, test, and enhance capability development in UAT and Production
- Manage risks, resources, and stakeholder communications across the workstream
- Provide regular communication and reporting updates to ensure full transparency and clarity of workstream deliveryto both the functional leadership teams and digital asset operations leadership teams

- Knowledge of reconciliation systems, data flows, and overall operating model
- Ability to escalate risks and decision points quickly to the appropriate stakeholders, whether that be functional leadership, digital leadership, and/or project leadership
- Ability to review and vet a new operating model for viability and alignment to our existing infrastructure
- Experience performing and reviewing cash and trades reconciliations for clients
- Collaboration with other recon business units as well as other departments within State Street
- Experience executing on a project as a critical stakeholder, including excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Experience in recon operations and strong working knowledge of day-to-day recon responsibilities and processes
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
- Ability to excel when faced with the unknown and challenged to develop new ways
- Excellent communication and escalation ability
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and external stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with digital assets and wallets, distributed ledger technology, tokenization is preferred
