Job Description
- As a Mechanical Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing moderately complex mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging. You will conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. Additionally, you will provide guidance to support personnel in detailed design preparation, design testing, and prototype fabrication, while also furnishing design information to drafting for packaging documentation.
Your key responsibilities will include providing engineering design, maintenance support, and training to the manufacturing areas. You will evaluate new and existing equipment to enhance efficiency, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will design and execute experiments, gather data, interpret results, conduct analysis, and generate analysis and test reports. Your role will involve drawing conclusions and resolving variances between predicted and actual outcomes.
You will be tasked with planning and coordinating the maintenance of moderately complex engineering solutions, encompassing documentation, reporting, publishing, and delivering technical presentations. Moreover, you will conceptualize and design new equipment and machinery to meet the internal requirements of Manufacturing and Engineering. You will contribute to the assembly, installation, debugging, and testing of new equipment to ensure seamless production capabilities. Defining maintenance schedules, procedures, and safety standards for current and new equipment will be essential to ensure proper operation, maintenance, and servicing of the equipment.
In this role, you will determine technical objectives and devise innovative, practical solutions to address technical engineering challenges. You will offer technical assistance for failure investigations and bid responses.
