Role Overview
The Premium Event Management Consultant is responsible for delivering high-touch event execution services for clients utilizing Cvents event technology platform. This role involves end-to-end setup, configuration, and operational support for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.
The consultant will work closely with clients to configure registration sites, event lobby experiences, and event consoles, while also providing speaker training, technical rehearsals, and live day monitoring to ensure seamless event delivery. This role requires strong project management skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple client stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will combine client consultation, technical configuration, and live event support to ensure that clients derive maximum value from the platform while delivering a smooth and engaging attendee experience
Key Responsibilities
In This Role, You Will:
Event Setup & Platform Configuration
- Configure and deploy event experiences within the platform, including registration pages, event lobby interfaces, and event console settings.
- Implement client requirements by translating event objectives into platform configurations.
- Customize event workflows including attendee registration paths, access permissions, and event branding elements.
- Conduct platform testing and quality assurance to ensure all event components function correctly before launch.
- Work directly with clients to gather detailed event requirements, timelines, and success criteria.
- Provide strategic recommendations and best practices for event setup, attendee engagement, and platform utilization.
- Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring the clients goals are aligned with platform capabilities.
- Conduct speaker and moderator training sessions on the event console and presentation tools.
- Facilitate technical rehearsals and dry runs to ensure speakers and presenters are comfortable with the platform.
- Provide troubleshooting support and guidance for speakers to optimize live session delivery.
- Provide live day support through Express Monitor or event monitoring tools to oversee the event experience in real time.
- Monitor sessions, attendee engagement, and platform performance during live events.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to ensure uninterrupted event delivery.
- Manage event timelines and deliverables to ensure all setup tasks are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as technical support, product teams, and customer success when required.
- Maintain clear documentation of client interactions, project updates, and configuration changes in CRM systems.
- Conduct pre-event testing and post-event reviews to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned with internal teams to improve future event implementations.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases and operational documentation.

- Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills

- Experience required 5-7 years
- Bachelors degree with strong academic credentials.
- Experience in event management, SaaS implementation, or client-facing project delivery roles.
- Familiarity with virtual event platforms, registration systems, and event management tools.
- Prior experience supporting virtual or hybrid events is highly desirable.
- Exposure to CRM systems, project management tools, and collaboration platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them in client environments.
