Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, including payroll processing, taxation compliance, invoice management, and financial reporting. The Accountant will work closely with the finance manager and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available for decision-making. This role directly impacts the companys financial health and compliance, contributing to its overall success.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees while adhering to all statutory requirements.
• Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax) to comply with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Oversee the invoice processing cycle, from receipt to payment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to maintain accurate financial data.
  
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide insights into the companys financial performance.
• Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and guidance.
  

Required Skillset

• Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of accounting, including payroll, taxation, and financial reporting.

  Get Hired
  Proven expertise in preparing and filing tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, based in Gurgaon/Gurugram or Bangalore.
