Data Visualization Expert

• Overall 7 to 10 years of IT experience within digital departments working closely with business users.
• 2-5 years of experience in Data visualization developing different types of visualizations, including visual analytics; real-time visualization; visualizations for interactive data exploration; narrative/editorially-guided visualizations;
• Be creative in telling beautiful and yet meaningful stories, which helps our customers in decision making.
• Manage a repository of re-usable data visualization templates and views.
• Continuously explore, identify and innovate in data visualization domain to provide a richer user experience and visualization to our customers.
  

Technical Role and Responsibilities

• 2 + years hand on skills in Power BI, QlikView, Tableau, Spotfire or any visualization tool.
• 2 + years of experience in Database applications
• 1 + year strong experience with D3.js libraries, and DAX or advanced visualization tools.
• Understand business and data requirements to support the Predictive/Machine Learning/ Data Analytics Team, and iteratively design visualizations for initial concepts and prototypes that can be presented to customers for feedback.
• Ability to develop interactive graphics from conception to deployment with intermediate show and tell to business users.
• Apply design and data analysis techniques to organize the presentation of data in visually innovative ways in order to make it easier to understand, insightful, and actionable by end users.
• Experience profiling, manipulating, and merging massive data set using Big Data technologies, preferably spark in Data Bricks at least one of AWS, Google, Microsoft, or Cloudera.
• Able to write advanced queries for complex data processing in SQL
• Strong understanding of UX/UI concepts and interface usability, and a demonstrated record of good design flow in interactive applications.
• Having knowledge of NOSQL databases is preferable
• Experience building data-driven web applications and familiar with development frameworks (AngularJS) is a plus
• Experience in Data Engineering is a plus
