Job Summary:

The engineerQMS will be responsible for managing and coordinating Quality Management System (QMS) activities at Cyient DLM Bangalore. This role includes overseeing internal audits, Management Review Meetings (MRM), QMS documentation, and customer audit interactions. The engineer will also lead continual improvement initiatives and facilitate Kaizen, 5S, and Idea Tree programs to enhance operational efficiency and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage internal audits and Management Review Meetings (MRM) in accordance with QMS requirements.

Maintain and control QMS documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

Act as the primary contact for customer audits, coordinating with customer representatives to ensure smooth audit processes.

Lead continual improvement initiatives to improve quality and operational performance.

Facilitate Kaizen events, 5S programs, Idea Tree initiatives, and other quality and process improvement activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality standards and drive process enhancements.

Requirements:

Trained in ISO 9000, AS9100, ISO 13485, or equivalent quality management standards.

Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.

Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams and customer contacts.

Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and champion quality initiatives.

Experience managing QMS in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Familiarity with Lean tools and ISO 9000, AS9100,.

Qualifications:

Diploma or bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.

Experience:

• 4–6 years of relevant manufacturing experience is a minimum.
