Nurse Educator

The Nurse Educator is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating structured clinical education programs to enhance nursing competency, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and oncology-specific care excellence at Cytecare Hospitals. The role ensures continuous professional development aligned with NABH standards, infection control practices, medication safety protocols, and evolving oncology treatment modalities.
Develop annual nursing training calendar (clinical + behavioral)
Conduct induction training for new nursing staff
Deliver BLS, ACLS coordination, and Code Blue simulation drills
Provide oncology-specific training (chemotherapy handling, central line care, cytotoxic safety)
Organize skill lab sessions (IV access, medication administration, ICU competencies)
Develop competency checklists for all Department
Conduct periodic competency assessments
Maintain skill matrix and re-certification tracking
Identify training gaps via audit findings & incident reports
Ensure documentation of all Trainings & Induction
Support compliance as per the regulatory authorities
Participate in mock audits & accreditation preparation
Patient Safety & Quality Integration

Develop SOP-based micro-learning modules
Maintain updated clinical guidelines repository

• Submit monthly training dashboard:
• % training completion

Chemotherapy drug handling training
Extravasation management drills
Central venous catheter care education
PPE protocol training for cytotoxic exposure
Safe disposal of bio-medical waste (hazard category)
Qualifications
Education: BSc Nursing with KNC Registration
Experience: A min of 3 years experience into Hospital Nurse Educator role and Clinical Experience of minimum 5 years is a must.
