Job Description

You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive financial risk management strategies aligned with Daimler Truck Group standards for the India & APAC region. Your role will involve planning and executing funding, investments, and FX transactions, as well as devising strategies to manage financial risks such as interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and FX risk effectively, including Asset and Liability Management (ALM) management. It is essential to stay updated on market trends and developments to make informed decisions.
You will support capital market requirements for business partners to optimize interest results and ensure infrastructure readiness encompassing system, process, documentation, and counterparty risk assessment. Your tasks will also include managing regional bank relationships in APAC, focusing on effective communication and collaboration to meet liquidity needs, optimize banking services, drive sustainable wallet negotiation, and diversify bank relationships to mitigate concentration counterparty risk.

As the Treasury system front office user center of competence in the region, you will be responsible for ensuring all transactions are accurately captured in the Treasury management system in adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Policies. Leading initiatives to automate treasury processes and implement technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will coordinate with the treasury back office to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
In terms of Treasury Risk Management Operations, you will manage daily money market and FX dealings for APAC entities in coordination with L4. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing benchmarks to effectively manage bank performance and implementing process changes related to data collection and analysis, workflow improvements, and operational processes.
You will also be tasked with preparing and presenting regular Management Information System (MIS) reports and presentations to management and business partners, ensuring compliance with all external regulatory requirements and internal policies and approvals, and coordinating with internal stakeholders such as HQ, business partners, and respective departments on functional topics.
