Data Analyst (Urgent Need)

Data Analyst Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization platforms.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through compelling visual presentations.
• Apply statistical techniques and hypothesis testing to uncover meaningful insights from data.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast business metrics, customer behavior, and other relevant KPIs.
  
• Use machine learning algorithms to build predictive models for various applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and contribute to data strategy development.
• Recommend improvements to data collection, storage, and management processes.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Document data analysis methodologies, findings, and reports for future reference.
• Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to management and relevant teams.
  

Data Analyst Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science) required; master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a minimum 2-3 years of experience in data analysis and interpretation.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data management best practices and data governance principles.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
