Data Analyst - Remote

Role Overview:

Partner with product, marketing and technology organizations to develop data-based insights and solutions

Use your expert knowledge of data in our data lake and reporting databases to evaluate business opportunities, size projects, conduct analysis and prototype data solutions

You will need to be proficient in SQL to mine the data to build the necessary required KPIs, metrics, dashboards etc.. You may need to work on synthesizing and preparing the data to suit the visuals.

This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the role:

• Partner with product, marketing, and technology organizations to develop data-based insights and solutions


• Use your expert knowledge of data in our data lake and reporting databases to evaluate business opportunities, size projects, conduct analysis and prototype data solutions


• You will need to be proficient in SQL to mine the data to build the necessary required KPIs, metrics, dashboards etc. You may need to work on synthesizing and preparing the data to suit the visuals.


• You will need to understand the requirements from the stake holders, translate them into technical requirements, understand the underlying data and build upon aggregates as required. Further, build out powerful visuals which tell the business story


• Build end-to-end process of defining and publishing KPIs including getting agreement from partners, validation, documentation, standardization across organization and driving automation


• Help Increase the use of data solutions by educating users and developing user-friendly documentation


• Conduct exploratory data analysis and hypothesis-driven deep dives into consumer behavior and subscription data to uncover opportunities through unique insights to improve consumer experience and monetization


• Conduct analysis on A/B testing data to help find winners, create new ideas for testing and promote the use of A/B testing.


• Combine your business and technical knowledge to create value from data using a variety of methodologies like descriptive and predictive analytics, statistics, experimentation, and business intelligence


• Be an expert for business and engineering teams on data in our data lake and multiple operational databases


• 
  Be part of innovation by applying data analysis skills to develop tools

About you:

• Expertise in presenting data and analysis at all levels in the organization


• Expert-level SQL knowledge


• You have sound knowledge of using cloud Big Data Technologies on AWS or Azure for working with data and Spark (Databricks)
  


• Knowledge of python data analysis frameworks like pandas


• Experience with online consumer data & device telemetry.


• Good to have knowledge in mathematical optimization and Machine Learning


• You should be passionate about data and the growing developments in this field


• Your background includes 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst and demonstrates experience which includes important and critical responsibilities as a data insight professional


• Good to have Knowledge of Data Orchestration tools like Apache Airflow


• You have proven experience working as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst proficient in telling business stories with data.


• Your experience includes knowledge of using visualization tools like Tableau or MicroStrategy


• You should have effective written and oral communication.


• You should be ready to work with global teams
