Data Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Data Analyst to join our clients team in Dubai, UAE. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and pre-process data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present findings and insights to stakeholders.
Analyse large datasets using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization based on data analysis.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization techniques.
Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment of data analysis efforts with business objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. (Masters degree preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or business environment.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying from relational databases.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and manipulation.
Experience working with large datasets and performing data cleaning and pre-processing.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
