  • Overall purpose of the job





Area Sales Manager is responsible for a group of 5 - 10 Team Members in a particular Area covering the Branches of DBS. Area Sales Managers need to oversee all functions of CLAP for the branches assigned to him/her, such as hiring relationship with Branch employees to generate leads, Customer Acquisition, Portfolio Quality etc. Area Sales manager is responsible for CLAP P & L for all the branches assigned to him/her.

Sourcing



  • Achievement of Annual Operating Plan

  • Ensure every branch has follow the sales process & maintain all registers

  • Ensure Branches achieve their AOP Targets

  • Ensure Manpower against Budgeted numbers

  • Adherence to audit & compliance guidelines.

  • Regular Branch and Customer Visits

  • Sending Branch Visit Report

  • Ensure Profitability of Branch

  • Attrition Control & filling hiring gaps. Maintaining Team cohesiveness

  • Control on Portfolio Attrition

  • Ensure all corporate office initiatives are being implemented

  • Ensure Profitability of CLAP Business

  • Regular Customer Visits

  • Ensure there is no Manpower Gap

  • Motivate staff to achieve targets and earn incentives

  • Cross selling of products like S/A account, Insurance, Other loans.

  • Maintaining the MIS, generating reports





Pre and Post disbursement



  • Monitoring of the account post disbursal

  • Ensure compliance with sanction terms

  • Portfolio Quality


Team Management



  • A Define Plan for the month with each branch

  • Motivate employees to achieve targets and earn incentives

  • Conduct performance review of sales executives and suggest if some improvement is to be done.
