Job Description
- The Technology and Operations (T&O) team plays a crucial role in providing the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure. With a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability, and innovation, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and strive to exceed the expectations of our business partners through various banking delivery channels.
As part of the team, your responsibilities will include leading ongoing reviews of business processes, developing automation strategies, and planning the technology roadmap with a detailed execution plan. You will design and build enterprise applications that cater to multiple business teams and effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Furthermore, you will provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to the local technology team, including responsibilities for hiring, training, performance management, change management, release management, and problem management. Your role will also involve gathering critical information from stakeholders, working closely with clients and managerial staff, and ensuring that solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Additionally, you will be responsible for managing projects, developing project plans, monitoring performance, updating procedures, and ensuring timely completion of projects. You will prioritize initiatives based on business needs, serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users, and manage competing resources and priorities. Monitoring deliverables, ensuring service delivery with a focus on SLAs, customer management, stakeholder relationships, and process improvement will also be key aspects of your role.

The ideal candidate will have experience in regulatory reporting projects, designed and enhanced various banking and technical applications, and successfully interacted with senior business leaders. A strong background in technology, engineering, or IT along with technical competencies in operating systems, project management tools, web-based applications, and Oracle PL/SQL is required. Additionally, possessing strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, will be essential for this role.
