Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with a solid understanding of financial principles to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, deriving actionable insights, and supporting financial decision-making processes. This role requires a combination of analytical skills, technical proficiency, and financial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Interpretation:
Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Develop dashboards and reports to visualize data effectively for stakeholders.
Use statistical methods to analyze financial and operational data.
Financial Analysis:
Perform financial modeling to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Assist in analyzing financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide insights on cost optimization, revenue trends, and profitability.
Work closely with finance, operations, and business teams to understand their data needs.
Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data storage and retrieval systems.
Technical Tasks:
Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve data for analysis.
Use data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to process and present data.
Automate recurring tasks using Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.
Data Governance & Quality:
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
Document data sources, methodologies, and processes for future reference.
Identify gaps and recommend improvements in data collection and processing.
Required Experience
Experience in a finance-focused role or industry is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or R).
Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
Familiarity with financial systems and ERP platforms is advantageous.
Financial Knowledge
Understanding of financial statements, KPIs, and budgeting principles.
Knowledge of investment analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across teams.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
