Job Description
- Decathlon Sports India is seeking candidates to join a dynamic team of IT experts who are passionate about sports and dedicated to driving business continuity, process improvements, and the transformation of Omni commerce in a futuristic manner to propel the company towards digital excellence.
As a member of our Technology teams, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting various applications used for both online and offline business operations. These include a Self Checkout Application for offline shopping, a Headless commerce application for online shopping, interactive applications for playgrounds and events booking, connectors for external marketplaces, and services for transport and order management. We follow Agile methodology to ensure faster delivery of services, with a strong focus on innovation and standardized processes to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
The ideal candidate should have a solid background in functional QA automation, with expertise in developing and implementing robust test strategies and frameworks. This role also requires effective human management skills to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of SDETs.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and API testing tools.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in test planning, test case development, and defect management.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of SDETs.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a collaborative and productive team environment.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree preferred
- 6-9 years of relevant experience
