About the Role
We are looking for a Robotics Simulation Engineer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on robotics simulation, virtual testing environments, autonomous systems, and intelligent automation.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to robotics simulation platforms, motion planning, physics engines, control systems, sensor modeling, and autonomous behavior testing, helping improve how AI models understand and solve robotics simulation challenges.
You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the technical accuracy, realism, and reliability of AI-generated simulation solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for robotics testing, autonomous system validation, and intelligent automation research.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including robotics simulation workflows, testing environments, and automation strategies
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to robotics simulation and autonomous systems
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Diagnose and solve real-world robotics simulation and virtual testing challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
- Assess AI outputs for correctness, simulation realism, system efficiency, and operational reliability
- Identify bugs, incorrect assumptions, inefficient implementations, or simulation inaccuracies in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on robotics simulation, intelligent systems, and autonomous technologies
Requirements
- Background in Robotics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of robotics systems, simulation environments, and autonomous technologies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
- Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System), Gazebo, Unity, Isaac Sim, Webots, or similar simulation platforms is preferred
- Experience with motion planning, physics engines, control systems, sensor modeling, or reinforcement learning is a plus
