Regional Controller (m/f/d) MEA & Turkey

For our world leading client, an international producer in packaging solutions, we are exclusively searching for a Regional Controller (m/f/d). Our client is a global market leader in their segment and grows product innovations continuously. The Regional Controller (m/f/d) supports the regions Africa, Middle East and Turkey in all controlling related matters. He ensures a high level of accuracy in the monthly reporting, identifies deviations of the settled financial and operative targets, and follows up correction plans. The right candidate facilitates the implementation and accomplishment of corporate and regional requirements by working closely together with the Regional Controlling Manager.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Develop a controlling and reporting structure linked to internal reporting’s, cost controlling and benchmarking


• Expand and control internal KPI’s with a focus on production, purchasing and sales department including analyses of deviations and improvement suggestions


• 
  Drive budget process and support Site Managers by developing and controllingkey figures and cost structure within the departments


• Participate proactively in process improvement initiatives within the finance department as well as take over the lead in internal projects linked to this area


• Process the financial integration of new companies in regards to controlling systems, financial reporting and financial processes


• Collaborate with corresponsive departments by building up standardized pricing methodologies for commodity product


• Support the Regional Finance & Commercial Director for MEA & Turkey on behalf of internal & external audit related topics


• Ensure that the region is in compliance with corporate policies and standards linked to ERP systems and data quality/accuracy


• Directly report to the to the Regional Controlling Manager whilst closely cooperating with the headquarter in Europe


• Continously strive for improvements and preventive actions in order to achieve strategic goals

• University degree in finance and controlling or similiar qualification


• Excellent command of written and spoken English – any other language skills are a plus


• Professional working experience within the GCC region


• Controlling expertise in an manufacturing business environment is mandatory


• Knowledge of planning, budgeting and KPI management


• Solid understanding of international accounting and reporting standards


• Strong relationship building skills, complex thinking ability and creative problem-solving approach


• High affinity for numbers and IT supported reporting systems (advanced Excel skills)


• Open-minded and interested in working in a multicultural environment
