Job Description
To oversee Indirect tax compliances, Audit, litigations for some of the key Schneider India legal entities and need to work with internal business partners and routine advisory to business teams and to identify and implement process improvements opportunitiesThis includes:
- Manage Tax assessments/ audits.
- Handle indirect tax litigation, deal with consultants/ advocates.
- Responsible to ensure indirect tax compliances
- Working closely with cross function teams
- Interface with Auditors and support finance team in finalization of statutory accounts, tax audit, etc.
- Provide good support to Manager in business planning & strategizing in Indirect Taxation for SE India group.
- Work on various projects impacting the future strategy of the indirect tax function to minimize or to mitigate litigation.
- Partner with business and provide timely support in decision making.
- Keeping up to date with changes in law/ procedures to preempt and carry out compliance requirements and sharing knowledge and updates.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost accountant with strong tax acumen having at least 1-2 years of post-qualification relevant tax experience preferably with manufacturing setup.

- The candidate should have good understanding of ERPs such as SAP, ORACLE etc.
- The candidate should have good interpersonal skills, communication skills and analytical skills.
- The candidate should be self-motivated and able to take initiatives.
