We are looking for an enthusiastic developer to join our development team. If you are looking for opportunities to develop your technical skills and grow your career, we currently have an exciting opening for you. Horizontal’s development team use a wide range of technologies and we value any other technical knowledge that you can offer. As an associate developer your focus will be on delivering deep technical solutions for our clients. You will be expected to solve business problems, develop standards and practices, and interact with technical leaders. You will continue to improve your technical skills and knowledge by participating in projects of various sizes and scope. You will not be working to simply solve a problem, but to solve it in the best way.
What you’ll do:

• Develop new modernized web front ends and reusable components.
• Develop single page applications using modern front-end technologies such as ReactJs, NextJs, VueJs etc.
• Code review, bug fixing.
• Work closely with our UX, Product/Project Management team to create end products that deliver great usability and follow best design practices.
• Use your knowledge to influence the way we address day-to-day technical challenges.
• Develop websites within the Sitecore CMS framework.
• Develop new .NET based functionalities and applications in Visual Studio.
• Work for customers. In our office, or on-site in their office. In a team, or completely independent.
• Accurately estimate the scale and scope of projects.
• Report development progress and issues and identify remedial actions as required.
• Ensure all solutions are documented and meet design requirements.
• Fully understand and communicate business requirements clearly.
• Architect custom solutions and maintain applications for our clients.

Get Hired

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS or SASS.
• Basic understanding of Single page applications.
• Basic understanding of SPA technologies such as ReactJs, NextJs, VueJs
• JavaScript / jQuery: Basic knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery.
• OOPs: Basic knowledge of Object-oriented programming concepts.
• .Net framework understanding & experience is an advantage.
• Bootstrap: Basic knowledge of Bootstrap, with its all components classes and grid systems, also how-to responsive site easily through it.
• PSD: Basic knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others.
• Take initiatives and provide innovative solutions to problems.
