Loan Underwriter

What role you will play in team: Assessing the creditworthiness of applicants and making recommendations on loan applications.

What you will do: Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to determine the risk associated with a loan application.

Key responsibility:

• Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze financial statements to assess the applicant's creditworthiness.
• Evaluate credit reports and other relevant data to identify potential risks.
• Apply underwriting guidelines and policies to make informed lending decisions.
  
• Prepare written reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of all underwriting activities.
• Communicate with applicants and internal stakeholders as needed.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience in loan underwriting (1-3 years).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
