Job Description
- Career opportunity in Business Intelligence Unit team - Gurgaon.
- Position Summary :
- She/he will be spending most of their time creating data warehouse/data mart/pipelines. Data quality checks, setting up features/signals for Reporting and Modelling teams. S/he will be working on automating data flow, integrating multiple data sources both online and offline. S/he should have worked on metrics tracking and working on MIS for functional needs.
- Key Responsibilities :
- She/he should have worked on creation and maintenance of data warehouse solutions creation. Should be familiar of DW concepts such as dimension, facts, measures, kpi and hierarchies.
- Should have experience in working with ETL tools such as SSIS.
- Should have experience in Data Quality check and automate such reports and process.
- Should have worked on integrating heterogeneous systems from various data sources.
- Should have good hands-on experience in SQL, stored procedure, performance tuning
- Should have experience working as data engineer, creating pipelines for data science or reporting teams
- Should have worked on Data Lake project as data engineer. Exposure to Cloud ETL platforms (Glue or Airflow) on AWS.
- Good to have basic understanding of statistical models and set up
- Generic reports using SQL and Visualization Tools
- Defining new data collection and analysis processes and reporting the results back to relevant members of the business
- Contribute to knowledge base and mentor team members
- Qualifications:
- Candidate should have B.Tech in computer science, Masters/MBA is preferable
- Past experience working on Data Warehouse, Data lake, ETL and Modelling.
- Should have 4-6 years of experience in Insurance/Banking/Lending/Credit Bureau or Financial sector
- Good to have experience in integrating PAS and other offline data sources
- Hands-on experience in managing responsive Dashboards on PowerBI or other visualization tools
- Extensive hands-on experience in working with ETL, AWS, Python, SQL and PowerBI
- Should have good knowledge and working experience in creating data warehouse, ETL, Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning, Data Quality Checks
- Good to have knowledge of Bank Statement, Credit data and other data sources used in Fraud Analysis
- Key Technical Skills and Core Behavioral Competencies :
- Strong experience in Data Warehousing, Data Lake, Reporting, Dashboards, Trend Analysis
- Well versed in all relevant technologies i.e., SQL, Python, ETL, AWS, Glue, PowerBI
- Demonstrated business orientation, correctly analyze business situation and foresee implications of major decisions with in-depth understanding of regulatory issues backed by strong business acumen
- Conceptual thinking - takes the right factors into account when developing solutions and demonstrate analytical thinking.
- Drive for results - Passion for learning and development, focuses on continuous improvement regarding work processes and able to work hard to achieve set goals.
- The candidate should possess the tact and ability to negotiate with and manage multiple stakeholders including board members, shareholders and regulatory authorities
- Strong interpersonal skills. Resourceful self-starter, proactive, results and execution-oriented team player Entrepreneurial spirit, pro-active attitude, be self-driven and detail oriented, possess excellent business judgment and excellent networking and relationship management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities. High energy levels, and works well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects and deliver business results, in a rapidly changing and cross-functional matrix environment
- Experience leading/managing and empowering others, and ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse international work group
