Responsibilities
Job Scope: To lead and manage all aspects of identified DSC strategic accounts, fostering continued growth through new business acquisitions and supporting the development of new business opportunities. Responsible for assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs regularly, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and delivering significant change management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Grow the business within current key strategic clients, develop new services for existing clients, and increase share of wallet.
• Achieve financial budget targets including new business growth.
• Develop teams to grow relationships with new business and sector accounts across the region.
• Meet/exceed targets for new business revenue from existing customers.
• Ensure service levels are met in line with contractual commitments.
• Establish effective relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target accounts.

• Manage customer contract negotiations.
• Monitor operational performances and intervene when customer satisfaction is at risk.
• Coordinate regular interactions between DSC internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
• Support a high-performance service culture within the functional department.
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreement & regulatory and corporate obligations.
  

Requirements
Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience within logistics/3PL and/or supply chain with significant focus and/or experience in customer management and new business acquisitions.
Qualification: Postgraduate from a recognized institution, preferably in supply chain or logistics.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills at all management levels.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead multiple divisional operations and functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive and improve performance of operations.
• Experience in international business exposure and cross-cultural environments.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Compliance with security vision, risk & threat assessment, regulatory requirements, operational control, and emergency incident management.
• Mandatory: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Commitment to safety management and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to engage employees towards behaviour-based safety standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
