Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Entry-Level Data Analyst & QA Analyst to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position will allow you to develop skills in both data analysis and quality assurance, providing you with a well-rounded foundation in understanding data-driven decisions and ensuring the quality of software products. You will work closely with senior analysts, QA testers, and developers to contribute to both data insights and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze datasets to support decision-making processes.
- Generate reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, and present insights to stakeholders.
- Assist in automating data collection, transformation, and reporting processes.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis tasks to support business initiatives.
- Review and understand software requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
- Identify, track, and document software bugs, errors, and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues and ensure product quality.
- Participate in software releases by performing regression testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure that applications meet functional, performance, and security requirements.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of data analysis techniques (e.g., statistical analysis, data cleaning).
- Proficiency in Excel; basic knowledge of SQL or any other query language is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of QA processes, including test case creation and bug tracking.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or any bug-tracking system is a plus.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and experience with basic programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) is a plus.
- Understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and software testing methodologies.
