Job Description
Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand Business Requirements and convert these into BI/DW solutions.
- Build new data models and maintain existing ones
- Propose IT solutions to improve process flow in the organization
- Works on moderately complex applications and/or issues.
- Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels.
- Forecasts, models, and utilizes advanced analytical tools.
- Creates new procedures and processes to drive desired results.
- Collaborates with and understands business goals and direction and translates to technical decisions.
BI/DW Developer Skills
- Should have 5-8 years of experience
- Well versed in Data Warehouse concepts, such as star schemas, dimensions, facts
- Hands on experience with data modeling, data analysis, data mart design
- Hands on experience with developing in the Oracle database
- Hands on experience with ETL tools (Informatica, ODI)
- Expert in SQL, PL/SQL
- Familiarity with sources systems like Oracle eBiz applications is a plus
- Good experience in frontend tools such as OAC and Power BI
- Experience in taking business user requirements, coming up with design, and developing solution
- Experienced in designing Power BI dataflows, datasets, and data models
Technologies Required
- Oracle database 12c or better
- Database skills (SQL, PLSQL)
- Informatica and/or ODI experience
- Experience in Oracle EBS applications - Good to Have
- Power BI - Good to have
