We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive to help expand our market presence, generate qualified opportunities, and drive customer acquisition for our solutions.
Role Overview:
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers while building a strong sales pipeline for DifferentBytes AI powered product and solutions. You will work closely with sales, marketing, product, and leadership teams to understand customer pain points, position our solutions effectively, and contribute directly to revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in SaaS or technology sales who enjoys prospecting, relationship building, consultative selling, and working in a fast growing startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage top-of-funnel business development activities.
- Identify and research target accounts, industries, and decision makers.
- Generate qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, networking, and cold calling.
- Engage with inbound leads and conduct initial qualification discussions.
- Understand customer challenges and map them to our solutions.
- Schedule and coordinate discovery calls, product demonstrations, and solution discussions
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve lead generation and opportunity creation targets
- Work closely with product team to understand solution capabilities and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM systems
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing team on lead generation campaigns and go-to-market initiatives
- Provide regular updates on pipeline performance, conversion metrics, and business opportunities
Required Skills:
- 1-5 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Inside Sales, or SaaS Sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
- Proven experience in lead generation and outbound prospecting
- Experience engaging with business stakeholders and decision makers
- Understanding of sales pipelines, lead qualification, and customer acquisition processes

- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or similar tools
- Strong research and account mapping capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a startup environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience selling SaaS, AI, automation, cloud, or technology solutions
- Experience working with AI powered products or automation platforms is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and modern sales engagement tools
- Exposure to startup or product based companies
- Basic understanding of APIs, SaaS platforms, automation workflows, or enterprise software solutions
- Technical or engineering background will be an added advantage
