About The Company
Digital Connexion is a joint venture (JV) between Brookfield Asset Management (Brookfield), Reliance Industries Limited and Digital Realty. The company provides the full spectrum of highly connected and scalable data centre, colocation and interconnection solutions to meet the critical infrastructure needs of enterprises and digital services companies in India, and brings together enterprises, network service, cloud and IT providers to give customers and partners a key connectivity gateway to Europe, the Middle, East, Africa and Asia.
The JV combines the complementary strengths of Jios massive digital and connectivity ecosystem in India and tech capabilities with Brookfield, one of the largest owners and operators of critical global infrastructure, and Digital Realty, provider of the worlds largest data centre platform enabling customers with access to over 50 metros across 6 continents.
Role Overview
The Marketing Director for Digital Connexion will develop and deliver a focused marketing strategy for India, targeting local, regional and global prospects to fill the country sales pipeline. This will involve working in partnership with the country team as well as co-ordinating with the regional and global Digital Realty marketing teams.Their activities will cover the full marketing mix from designing the strategy, to tactical execution using the full marketing mix such as digital tools, events, social media, PR, and brand building.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing strategy
Lead the design and implementation of Indian marketing strategy aligned to Indian Sales targets and broader Digital Connexions marketing strategy (goals, target, plan, tools) to generate demand and fill the sales pipeline
Provide market intelligence to facilitate with local positioning and strategic decision-making
Provide market updates and relevant customer and sector intelligence into regional and global marketing teams
Increase awareness of the Digital Connexion as a brand in the Indian market
Drive demand generation activities from both within India as well as from across the APAC region and other global regions of business
Management and Leadership
Responsibility for Indian marketing budget
Lead and develop internal marketing resources (potentially grow team size in long term) as business grows
Work together with sales, product, segments and business development to plan and execute targeted Go-To-market Plans
Manage Indian marketing budget to ensure value for money with suppliers and ROI on campaign spend
Be the liaison point with parent companies to align systems and processes and benchmark reporting standards
Demand Generation and Pipeline Acceleration
Manage & execute the core lead development and customer retention campaigns
Define target groups and management of customer & prospect databases
Localise value propositions and key messages
Create and localise marketing content
Work in partnership with parent companies regional & global marketing to implement brand campaigns and activities
Effective agency management
Define & execute local digital and social media strategy, ensuring it complements & is consistent with corporate positioning
Marketing Communication
Lead Indian PR activity to increase company brand awareness, aligned with corporate PR activity to ensure best impact
Design, develop and produce communication materials
Coordinate all external communication, supporting sales & operations teams with high quality content
PR and social media agency management
Event Management
- Manage event calendar, including presence at events, core messaging, virtual attendance, own company events, speaking slots

Competencies
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholder groups

Experience & Qualifications
- Educated to degree level in either Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent
- Around 15 years of experience in a B2B marketing environment, in the technology sector
- Proven track record of successfully partnering with sales management and sales teams
- Experience in agency management
- Experience in account-based marketing and sales enablement
- Experience of using Marketing Automation platforms (e.g. Pardot, Marketo) with Salesforce.com to drive and optimise marketing performance
- Ability to manage budgets and deliver all key marketing initiatives within budget
