Why this job matters?
As the Digital Procurement Implementation Manager, you will be at the forefront of digitising procurement in BT.
Working closely with various teams in BT and leading procurement technology providers, you will be responsible for implementing procurement digital tools.
You will have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in digital procurement tools and upskill procurement teams and stakeholders to drive increased adoption.
Accountabilities
- Lead the end the end digital transformation from design to implementation.
- Deliver change management and communication methodologies for digital procurement tools.
- Work with teams to determine digital procurement training needs, develop and execute.
- Monitor digital tools performance metrics and drive initiatives to ensure continued adoption.
- Maintain expertise around industry leading procurement technology.
- Identify opportunities for digitisation of the procurement processes.
- Ability to manage BT’s complex, strategic and commercial characteristics in line with external and internal requirements.
Skills and capabilities required
- You have a digital first mindset and passion for technology.
- Ideally experience in a role with responsibility to create a new digital procurement ecosystem.
- You want to get things done and can work independently and as a team.

- Excellent communication skills, with a high-level of attention to detail.
- Good planning and organisation skills.
- Strong ability to build effective working relationships and with digital procurement suppliers.
- Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload often with conflicting priorities
- Expertise in the use of Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to learn and curious.
