Job Context:
Procurement of critical heavy asset, mechanical equipment like high-capacity cranes, compressors, pumps, lifts, and bucket elevators This role is pivotal in managing a very large procurement portfolio , ensuring timely sourcing, contracting, and delivery of these assets. The role demands a strong understanding of market trends, equipment specifications, and vendor networks, along with coordination with internal stakeholders such as Project, Finance, Safety, and Legal.
Functional competencies:

- Procurement of high-capacity mechanical assets (e.g., cranes, compressors, pumps, lifts, bucket elevators)
- Strategic sourcing and annual hiring of these heavy assets for pan-India project execution
- Expertise in the procurement lifecycle: RFQ, technical evaluation, negotiation,
- PO placement, and delivery follow-up
- Budget alignment and contract structuring
- Compliance in high-value procurement

- Safety, finance, and legal teams
- Running end-to-end project support
- Vendor relationship management
