Daily Tasks

• Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations

• Prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedule
• Assist with year-end financial statement preparation and audit
• Review and analyze financial statements and accounts
• Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and basic accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Additional Skills

• Experience with QuickBooks and/or NetSuite is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with international accounting and tax regulations is a plus
• CPA certification preferred
• Experience in e-commerce or retail industry is a plus
