About Dodo Payments
Dodo Payments is the Monetisation Engine for AI-native products. Were a Merchant of Record + Billing & Monetization platform that helps SaaS, AI, and digital businesses accept payments globally, automate billing, and stay fully compliant with taxes and regulations in 220+ countries.
Were scaling from 30 to 50 people and need someone to own hiring, onboarding, and people operations end to end.
Role Overview
Were hiring a Talent Partner to own the full employee lifecycle recruiting, onboarding, engagement, and performance. Youll work directly with founders and team leads to hire great people fast, get them productive quickly, and keep the team engaged as we scale.
This isnt an HR policy role. Youll be in the weeds running hiring processes, talking to candidates, solving people problems, and building the foundations of our people function.
This role is based in Bengaluru (preferred) and reports to the founders.

  • Hiring outcomes speed, quality, and conversion across all roles
  • Candidate pipeline and offer closure rates
  • Onboarding experience and new hire time-to-productivity
  • Employee engagement and retention
  • Performance planning and feedback cycles
What Youll Do
Talent Acquisition
  • Own end-to-end hiring for senior, mid-level, and early-career roles across engineering, product, GTM, and ops
  • Partner with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring plans
  • Build sourcing pipelines through referrals, communities, job boards, and direct outreach
  • Conduct screening calls, coordinate interviews, and drive hiring decisions
  • Negotiate offers, close candidates, and own the onboarding handoff
Onboarding & Engagement
  • Design and run onboarding programs that get new hires productive fast
  • Build engagement initiatives that improve retention and team satisfaction
  • Be the go-to person for employee questions, feedback, and concerns
  • Run pulse checks and act on what you learn
Performance & Development
  • Help teams define goals, KRAs, and success metrics
  • Support performance review cycles and constructive feedback conversations
  • Partner with leadership on learning and development initiatives
People Operations
  • Resolve employee conflicts and cross-team challenges
  • Build fair, transparent people practices that scale
  • Keep hiring and people ops running smoothly without bureaucracy
What You Bring
  • 35 years of experience in talent acquisition, HRBP, or people operations
  • Strong track record of owning hiring end to end youve closed tough roles before

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management you can talk to engineers, founders, and ops folks equally well
  • Comfortable in fast-moving startup environments you dont need perfect processes to get things done
  • Strong judgment when evaluating both candidates and people situations
Nice to Have
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, or payments companies
  • Track record hiring across different seniority levels and functions
  • Exposure to performance management, engagement programs, or culture initiatives
  • Existing network in the Bengaluru startup ecosystem
