Reconciliations Accountant

About You And This Role
As a Reconciliation Accountant / Controllers Coordinator, we are looking for a General Ledger Reconciliation accountant. You will ensure accounting activity recorded within the Company’s records are accurate and complete. You will work with Accounts Payable and other Dow teams to clear aged balances from Procure to Pay and related accounts. A desired candidate should possess in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in accounting and basic knowledge of related finance disciplines. This role will report to Reconciliation Accounting Leader.
Responsibilities

• Review Items beyond Aging thresholds & ensure aged open item management
• Follow up with Operations teams to clear aged items
• Perform month-end reconciliation activities.
• Periodical Monitoring process including Preparing Account Details Including Aging Threshold, Importing Account Details into Blackline per Account, Attaching, Finalizing and Certifying a Blackline Report, Make Corrections as per Approvers Feedback
  

Qualifications

• Qualified Commerce Graduate or Post-Graduate with minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  

Preferred Skills

• Strong skills in SAP, MS-Office skills (especially Excel)
• Experience with Blackline Reconciliations Tool is a plus
• Team player with proactive communication style
• Strong analytical and process improvement skills
  

Additional Notes

• Relocation assistance is not available with this position.
• The ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with different time zones (if required) is essential.
