We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Air & Sea team based in Dubai. The Business Analyst will play a vital role in creating EDI specifications and implementing projects consisting of existing processes and implementation of new clients.
They will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the electronic exchange of information between the company and its business partners. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of EDI protocols, standards, and processes, as well as exceptional problem-solving skills to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Effectively executing integrations or projects in EDI according to its schedule and budget.
• Analyzing DSV customers’ requirements and prepare technical specifications.
• Analyze and estimate the work effort to implement new solutions.
• Creation or modification of interfaces based on existing standard solutions, ensuring high quality using test scenarios.

• Creating detailed specifications and documentation based on existing operational procedures.
• Maintain timely, efficient and proactive stakeholder communication regarding the daily tasks and projects.
• Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including company’s intellectual property protection.
• Create and maintain documentation related to EDI processes and procedures, including mapping specifications, data interchange agreements, and trading partner profiles.
• Train and support internal users on EDI processes, tools, and best practices.
  

Qualifications & Characteristics:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Behaviors and attitudes consistent with the values of the organization.
• Professional skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.
• Strong knowledge of EDI protocols and standards, such as EDIFACT or ANSI X12
• Knowledge of Agile methods, specifically Scrum and Kanban

• Knowledge of XML
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues related to data communication and system integration.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, AS2 or HTTP.
• At least B1 English level.
• At least 2 years of work experience in creating EDI solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to handle large volumes of data and ensure data integrity.
• Knowledge of the methodology of implementing IT projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines.
