Senior Analyst - Data And Artificial Intelligence Governance

Analyze AI data in the field of data governance and AI, participate in preparing relevant reports and recommendations, and drive the activation of data governance and AI initiatives within the Roads and Transport Authority. Organize, facilitate, and support compliance tracking activities, data quality audits, AI ethics assessments, and maturity analysis. Contribute to the daily implementation of governance practices across data maturity, data sharing compliance, and responsible AI assessments.

• Conduct basic data analysis and visualizations to support data governance decision-making
• Document AI and data use cases, especially in assessing business impact and risks
• Support research around evolving data/AI governance best practices and summarize insights
• Track incoming official mails, draft official responses in Arabic & English for Data & AI Governance related formal mails
• Ensure timely documentation, tracking, and resolution of issues raised in data and AI compliance reviews
• Generate regular compliance reports and governance KPIs
• Perform hands-on tasks using governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Power BI, or Python-based profiling tools
• Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the job as assigned
• Comply with RTA's information security policies and ensure the secure handling of sensitive data assets

• Support in data collection & analysis, business definition collection, data inventory, critical data sets, and Open Datasets
• Analyze and determine data quality, detect defects, and address them
  

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field. Possession of CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional), TOGAF, CIPT, CIPP/E, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certifications. Ethical AI certifications from organizations like IEEE, Stanford Online, or Microsoft AI School are preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Technology domain with a solid understanding of data analysis, governance, compliance, or related functions.
